About this role
Role overview A Head of Product opportunity to launch a new direct-to-consumer subscription product in the consumer privacy and security space and grow it into a category leader. The role is a single-product, zero-to-one build covering market research, MVP definition, execution with engineering, the acquisition funnel, and end-to-end product experience, with the product roadmap owned directly alongside the Managing Director. AI tooling is expected to be a core part of the workflow.
Responsibilities - Lead market, competitor, and audience research; define the launch positioning, offer, and pricing hypothesis, and continue landscape monitoring post-launch. - Own the MVP end to end, including scope, build plan, quality bar, and go-live readiness. - Partner daily with engineering, writing technically rigorous requirements, participating in sprint planning, and making technical trade-off decisions to keep delivery fast. - Build a high-converting acquisition funnel end to end, aligning structure, copy, offer, and onboarding with acquisition, CRO, and marketing teams. - Own the end-to-end user journey and UI/UX quality, instrumenting analytics from day one and turning qualitative and quantitative insights into structured experiments. - Post-launch, own conversion, D7/D30 ARPU, and retention, running pricing and packaging experiments and acting on drop-off points surfaced in cohort analysis.
Requirements - Five or more years of product management experience on D2C subscription products (web-to-web or web-to-app), including at least two years in a senior or lead PM role. - Demonstrated track record launching a consumer subscription product from zero to live with measurable post-launch results. - Deep understanding of consumer user journeys and the ability to build a high-converting, intuitive interface. - Technical fluency sufficient to read code, understand system architecture, and engage engineers in substantive trade-off discussions. - Proven record growing ARPU and retention with measurable revenue outcomes. - Proficiency with product and financial analytics tools such as Mixpanel and Tableau, plus experience designing and interpreting A/B tests, feature flags, and rollouts. - Active daily use of AI tools like Claude (or equivalents) to accelerate concept, analysis, and prototype work.
