Senior Project Manager, Professional Services (German Speaking)

Role overview A senior project manager role within a Professional Services organization, leading the end-to-end delivery of large, concurrent enterprise technology implementations for external customers. The position combines strategic client advisory work with internal practice-building, shaping governance and delivery standards across a fast-moving consulting portfolio.

Responsibilities - Own multiple high-stakes enterprise deployments from kickoff through sign-off, managing scope, milestones, resources, budgets, and success criteria simultaneously. - Proactively identify, track, and resolve project risks, technical dependencies, and issues before they escalate to leadership. - Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation owner for customer executives, internal cross-functional teams, and external partners. - Run quality control throughout engagement lifecycles to ensure deliverables meet agreed standards and customer business goals. - Partner with leadership to develop and refine PMO governance, including standard operating procedures, methodologies, KPIs, and reporting practices. - Recommend continuous improvements that lift operational efficiency, margins, customer satisfaction, and resource utilization across the portfolio.

Requirements - 8+ years of customer-facing project management experience delivering complex, enterprise-grade technical projects within Professional Services or consulting. - Demonstrated success managing concurrent, high-visibility client engagements in fast-paced technology environments. - Background working with customers in Financial Services, Government, and/or Healthcare industries. - Fluency in written and spoken German and English. - Expert command of modern project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Asana) and Google Workspace. - Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities, with confident autonomous decision-making under pressure.

Nice to have - Recognized credentials such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum (CSM, PMI-ACP), or Lean. - Foundational technical background in data management, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), data protection, enterprise storage, cybersecurity, or SaaS delivery. - Financial fluency with services metrics like utilization, margin, and project profitability. - Prior contributions to PMO governance frameworks.
