Remote job
Product Designer
Job details
About this role
Role overview A Product Designer is needed to craft clear, information-dense workflows used by processors and underwriters in an enterprise reverse-mortgage lending platform. The role owns design end to end—user research, interaction patterns, and front-end polish—while sitting in on real loan files to ground decisions in actual operational work. This is a full-time, remote (US) position on the Product & Design team.
Responsibilities - Own end-to-end design for data-heavy interfaces that support lending operations staff across the loan lifecycle. - Conduct user research with processors, underwriters, and adjacent roles to surface workflow pain points. - Translate research findings into interaction models, prototypes, and production-ready visual polish. - Observe live loan files to validate design decisions against real working conditions. - Iterate on workflows spanning origination, processing, underwriting, closing, and post-closing activities. - Partner closely with product, engineering, and operations stakeholders to ship improvements.
Requirements - Demonstrated experience designing complex, data-dense enterprise software interfaces. - Ability to plan and run lightweight user research and convert insights into shipped product changes. - Strong interaction design skills paired with attention to visual and front-end detail. - Comfort owning ambiguous problems and iterating quickly in a small product team. - Authorized to work in the United States, or openness to discussing future sponsorship needs. - A portfolio showing work you are proud of, with a short note on what you would want to own.
Benefits and work setup - Remote (US), full-time role with a published salary range of $115,000–$145,000. - Every application is read by a person; first response promised within five business days. - Structured interview process: a 30-minute recruiter call, a 45-minute hiring manager conversation, and a decision within roughly a week of the final round. - Equal-opportunity employer that explicitly hires for outcomes rather than credentials.
