Project Manager

Role overview A project management office is hiring a Project Manager to run deployment projects end-to-end, from initial kickoff through go-live. Roughly 70% of the work centers on standard single-site deployments, with the remainder split between medium-complexity multi-location rollouts and stretch assignments designed to grow the role toward more complex deployments. The position is remote within South Africa, reports to a Team Lead within the PMO, and offers genuine ownership of customer accounts from day one.

Responsibilities - Run multiple deployment projects at once, independently, from kickoff through go-live - Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts, providing proactive status updates and flagging risks early - Manage project administration, documentation, budgets, resources, milestones, and coordination end-to-end - Keep every deployment phase on track, including site surveys, equipment shipping, vendor coordination, and installation scheduling - Act as the first point of escalation for assigned accounts; troubleshoot routine issues yourself and escalate complex ones with prepared analysis attached - Manage equipment returns and RMA processes, maintain accurate project documentation across all internal platforms, generate quotes from established pricing models, and produce status reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders - Coordinate with approved installation vendors on scheduling and requirements; review vendor quotes for accuracy and flag performance or quality issues early

Requirements - 2–3 years of project management or coordination experience - Solid understanding of deployment processes - Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management tools - Basic understanding of retail technology, hardware requirements, and vendor management - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Comfort juggling multiple projects, vendors, equipment shipments, and schedules in parallel
