Salesforce FSL Architect

Role overview

This 12-month contract role is for a Salesforce FSL Architect responsible for shaping and delivering Field Service solutions for customer projects. The work combines client-facing discovery, business analysis, solution architecture, estimation, hands-on configuration, and technical implementation within the Salesforce ecosystem. The role is remote and requires confident communication with customers, internal delivery teams, and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

- Lead discovery and scoping sessions to understand customer processes, objectives, and constraints. - Design scalable, robust, and flexible solution architectures for different customer engagements. - Produce and validate delivery estimates to support project scope and change requests. - Provide architectural direction and oversight throughout the project lifecycle. - Configure and implement Salesforce Field Service solutions, including scheduling policies, work rules, and service objectives. - Manage expectations and maintain clear communication with customers, internal teams, and external vendors.

Requirements

- Salesforce certification, such as Salesforce Certified Field Service Consultant. - Hands-on experience with Salesforce Field Service Lightning solution design, configuration, and implementation. - Strong customer-facing communication and relationship-management skills. - Business analysis capability, including discovery, scoping, and understanding operational processes. - Experience developing or validating estimates and guiding architecture through delivery.
