Enterprise Solutions Engineer - West Coast

Role overview Join a venture-backed AI startup as a senior Enterprise Solutions Engineer covering the West Coast territory. This is a customer-facing technical role partnering with Account Executives to drive complex enterprise sales cycles for an autonomous AI platform aimed at solving production engineering challenges. You'll serve as the trusted technical advisor throughout discovery, evaluation, and deployment phases, while shaping how the platform lands in cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities - Co-lead enterprise sales cycles alongside Account Executives, owning the technical narrative from initial discovery through proof-of-concept and close - Deliver product demonstrations and run technical evaluations, mapping customer infrastructure pain points to platform capabilities - Build durable relationships with customer engineering and operations teams, acting as a consultative advisor through pilots and deployments - Channel customer feedback into Product and Engineering, influencing roadmap prioritization and refining technical messaging - Develop reusable demo environments, playbooks, and tooling to scale the go-to-market motion

Requirements - 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a comparable customer-facing technical role, ideally within enterprise SaaS, DevOps, or AI - Demonstrated success running consultative sales cycles with enterprise buyers and multi-stakeholder decision processes - Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices in cloud-native environments - Familiarity with infrastructure automation and applying security and compliance best practices - Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to engineers and executives alike - Self-starter mindset suited to fast-paced, early-stage company environments
