Role overview
Build and refine the core product experience for a developer-focused email platform. This is a hands-on product engineering role spanning frontend, backend, UX, product discovery, and delivery, with ownership from identifying a user problem through launch, measurement, and iteration.
Responsibilities
- Deliver polished product experiences that make complex technical workflows clear and trustworthy. - Own features end to end, including product definition, interaction details, implementation, instrumentation, release, and follow-up improvements. - Create debugging and observability tools that help users understand email, webhook, domain, and API activity. - Collaborate with design, engineering, and customer-facing teams to identify problems and ship effective solutions. - Speak with users and translate customer pain into practical product decisions. - Improve standards for performance, accessibility, reliability, visual quality, and overall product craft.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience building and shipping high-quality web products. - Strong TypeScript, React, and modern frontend development experience. - Comfortable working across the stack, including APIs, databases, server-side logic, and product infrastructure. - Strong judgment around user experience, interaction design, and product polish. - Able to turn ambiguous customer problems into clear, actionable solutions. - Fluent written and spoken English, with a hands-on and collaborative working style.
Nice to have
- Experience building products for developers, infrastructure teams, or other technical users. - Familiarity with email, deliverability, DNS, webhooks, logs, observability, or API platforms. - Experience in a small, high-ownership team and a strong visual sense for fast, simple interfaces.
