Backend / Fullstack Engineer (AI-first)

Role overview

Senior backend/fullstack engineering role focused on turning complex financial operations into reliable, scalable internal systems. You would work across backend services and user-facing tools that help manage stuck transactions, support cases, document validation, and manual back-office workflows. The role follows an AI-first approach: using agents and automation as part of everyday engineering work rather than treating AI as a separate specialty.

Responsibilities

- Design and build operational tools that reduce manual work across transaction and support workflows. - Develop backend services and fullstack interfaces for reviewing, resolving, and monitoring operational cases. - Identify repetitive or error-prone processes and convert them into dependable software workflows. - Use AI agents and automation to accelerate development and improve operational efficiency. - Collaborate with operations and other technical stakeholders to understand real-world failure modes and deliver practical solutions. - Help create systems capable of supporting high-volume cross-border financial activity.

Requirements

- Senior-level experience building backend and fullstack software. - Ability to work across system design, implementation, debugging, and delivery rather than focusing on a narrow technical layer. - Demonstrated habit of using AI agents or AI-assisted workflows in software development. - Interest in fintech, cross-border payments, or crypto-related products. - Strong ability to solve ambiguous operational problems and turn them into clear technical systems.
