Role overview
This Product Owner role is responsible for shaping and improving a live software product from discovery through launch and ongoing iteration. You will translate complex customer and business problems into focused releases, work closely with engineering and data partners, and use product evidence to guide priorities and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own the product lifecycle, including discovery, problem definition, scoping, launch planning, and post-release improvement. - Prioritize work by balancing user needs, business impact, technical constraints, and product quality. - Define and monitor KPIs, adoption measures, usage patterns, and other indicators of product success. - Turn ambiguous opportunities into clear, executable releases with aligned stakeholders and engineering partners. - Combine customer feedback with product data to identify improvements and make informed decisions. - Move quickly in a changing environment while maintaining an intuitive, high-quality user experience.
Requirements
- Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent role with ownership of a live software product. - A record of creating customer-facing products that are easy and satisfying to use. - Strong product judgment and the ability to simplify technically or operationally complex problems. - Experience using KPIs, usage analytics, and customer insight to shape priorities. - High ownership, initiative, and comfort working through ambiguity in a fast-moving setting. - Strong written communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Nice to have
- An engineering background or strong technical fluency. - Experience with AI or machine learning, large language models, agents, data infrastructure, analytics, developer tools, or similarly technical products. - Experience taking products from initial concept to launch and iterating from real-world usage.
