AI Data Generalist — Egocentric Video Review

Role overview
Support short-term AI data projects by reviewing first-person video and judging whether recorded actions have been labeled consistently and accurately. The engagement spans approximately two weeks across three projects, with individual assignments lasting roughly three days to one week and the initial project involving about 50 short videos.
Responsibilities
- Review action segments in egocentric video according to detailed project guidelines. - Check whether each segment starts and ends at the correct point for the action shown. - Correct inaccurate boundaries or flag them for further review. - Apply consistent decisions across a high volume of brief, similar video segments. - Complete assigned videos within the project schedule and adapt to additional review tasks as they are introduced.
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and strong visual comprehension. - Ability to distinguish between closely related actions and precise moments in a video. - Comfort with structured, repetitive work while maintaining accuracy. - Ability to learn and consistently apply annotation instructions. - Strong written English communication skills.
Nice to have
Previous experience with video annotation, data labeling, computer-vision datasets, or first-person video is helpful but not required.
Benefits and work setup
This is a fully remote independent-contractor engagement that can be completed on your own schedule. Payments are made weekly through Stripe or Wise based on services delivered. The work is expected to begin on a Monday morning in Pacific Time, and project length may change according to operational needs and performance.
