Role overview
Senior leader owning the business systems estate, the security program customers rely on, and the IT that keeps a B2B SaaS gifting and swag platform running across the UK, US, and Portugal. The role combines platform ownership with a standing mandate to find manual work, automate it, and lead how the organization adopts AI in practice.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end systems estate including NetSuite, Salesforce, Workato, and DealHub, plus integrations and data governance - Set architecture, operating model, and roadmap for how systems are used across the business - Own the SOC 2 Type II program, security policy set, and risk register as the accountable business owner - Manage identity and access, joiner/mover/leaver processes, and device and endpoint estate across three countries - Lead customer security assurance from questionnaires and RFPs through enterprise due diligence - Drive AI adoption strategy, including tools, workflows, training, and the governance framework covering acceptable use and data handling - Identify manual processes across teams and automate them, publishing measurable impact
Requirements
- 5+ years in business systems, IT, or BizTech leadership within B2B SaaS, including 3+ years leading a function, ideally in a PE-backed environment - Hands-on ownership of an enterprise CRM, ERP, and the integration layer between them - Accountable ownership of a SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 program rather than evidence-gathering support - Identity, SSO, and device estate experience at 100+ headcount across multiple countries - Strong AI practitioner who uses it daily and has embedded it into workflows others depend on - Ability to translate technical trade-offs into commercial impact for any audience - Pragmatic about buying versus building, with comfort owning a broad remit alongside a small team
