About this role
Role overview
Develop and maintain full-stack product features, with an emphasis on building responsive, accessible React interfaces. The front end works with .NET Core APIs and SQL Server, and you’ll partner with experienced engineers as you build product knowledge and grow toward more independent delivery.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship well-scoped features and fixes, focusing on React interfaces backed by APIs and a relational database. - Create user experiences that work across screen sizes and support accessibility needs. - Follow team practices for code quality, testing, source control, and deployment. - Take responsibility for shipped work by investigating defects, regressions, and unanswered questions. - Participate in pull request reviews and technical discussions, and ask for help early when blocked. - Use mocked or anonymized data during development and testing, following safeguards for sensitive health information even when using AI tools.
Requirements
- Around 1–3 years of software development experience, which may include academic, internship, personal, or professional projects. - A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or certifications. - Working knowledge of React, including hooks, component composition, state, and props. - Solid JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills, including responsive and accessible interface development. - Some experience with C# and a state management tool such as Redux or React Query. - Understanding of full-stack application communication, foundational data structures and algorithms, and basic source control and deployment workflows. - A delivered project contribution you can explain, with a collaborative, accountable approach and care for sensitive customer information.
Nice to have
- Experience with Fluent UI, front-end testing tools such as Jest or React Testing Library, or a relational database such as SQL Server.
