Role overview
Play a pivotal role in quality assurance for a Resware product serving the title insurance and settlement services industry. This position focuses on verifying that new enhancements, modifications, and v10 product updates behave as intended and deliver an intuitive, efficient experience for everyone from first-time users to seasoned professionals. You will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to safeguard functionality and drive exceptional user outcomes across a B2B real estate closing platform used in millions of transactions annually.
Responsibilities
- Verify that new features meet specified requirements and behave as expected through structured feature testing. - Run regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality. - Conduct exploratory testing by intentionally probing the product like an end-user to uncover defects, usability issues, and unexpected behaviors. - Perform UI/UX testing to assess intuitiveness, visual consistency, and overall user experience. - Validate data flow and system communication via API testing using tools such as Postman. - Confirm seamless end-to-end workflows through integration testing with external partners and systems. - Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to define acceptance criteria and apply risk assessment and systems thinking to prioritize testing efforts.
Requirements
- Nuanced understanding of the Resware product and its role in title insurance and settlement workflows. - Strategic approach to testing that balances thorough execution with risk-based prioritization. - Strong collaboration skills with Product and Engineering teams.
