Role overview Strengthen product quality across mobile applications and backend services through risk-based testing, maintainable automation, and clear release evidence. This individual-contributor role partners throughout the development lifecycle with product, engineering, support, and trust and safety teams to uncover issues early and make releases more dependable.
Responsibilities - Plan and perform exploratory, functional, regression, API, and mobile testing across devices, operating systems, browsers, and network conditions. - Prioritize test coverage around high-impact risks and validate critical user journeys and fixes. - Develop and maintain automated checks for key workflows, APIs, and platform services, integrating stable tests into CI/CD. - Investigate flaky tests, maintain reusable test data, and balance automation with exploratory testing. - Document defects with clear reproduction steps and evidence; collaborate with engineers on investigation and regression prevention. - Contribute to release readiness, communicate gaps and risks, and help define quality standards with cross-functional partners.
Requirements - At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, or software testing. - Strong experience with exploratory and automated testing, including mobile applications and APIs. - Programming ability to design, write, debug, and maintain automated tests. - Working knowledge of Git, code review, and CI/CD workflows. - Experience developing software and tests both with and without AI coding tools, with the ability to review and validate AI-generated code for security, reliability, and maintainability. - Strong analytical, communication, and independent working skills, alongside effective cross-team collaboration.
