Role overview An Associate Product Manager joins an early-career product role on a team that turns lengthy commercial real estate documents into trusted, AI-validated data for owners, operators, and investors. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the role offers high ownership from day one within a distributed startup environment. The position is fully remote and pairs structured learning with real responsibility for shipping features end to end.
Responsibilities - Lead customer interviews to surface pain points and validate product bets - Synthesize qualitative and quantitative signals into clear, actionable product briefs - Help prioritize initiatives across the core product portfolio - Write feature specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guide engineering work - Own defined workstreams from research through release, including launch readiness and release communications - Maintain and communicate a Now/Next/Later roadmap internally and to customers, and partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth adoption
Requirements - 1–3 years of experience in a product role, or in an adjacent role (analyst, engineering, design, data, or customer-facing) with a clear motivation to move into product management - Exposure to commercial real estate, property management, or asset management workflows - Strong written communication skills, with the ability to turn fuzzy ideas into clear specs and narratives - Highly organized and systematic, with strong attention to detail - Genuine curiosity about AI and its impact on knowledge work and enterprise software - Authorization to work in the United States
Nice to have - Experience with document-heavy or data extraction products - Familiarity with Yardi or MRI platforms - Background with AI/LLM products or agentic pipelines - A track record of running customer interviews and translating findings into product decisions
