Role overview A US-based remote opportunity is available for neuroscience specialists to act as expert reviewers on an AI verification project. Participants will evaluate LLM-generated graphical abstracts against their source research papers, ensuring that scientific concepts are summarized accurately and visually coherently. The work is flexible, ad hoc, and compensated at $40 or more per hour.
Responsibilities - Review AI-generated graphical abstracts alongside the original neuroscience publications. - Pinpoint errors, oversimplifications, or misrepresentations relative to the source paper. - Use subject-matter expertise to confirm that technical concepts are correctly conveyed. - Provide feedback that informs improvements to AI-driven scientific summarization. - Complete a paid skills assessment with a sample paper and abstract prior to starting.
Requirements - Demonstrated deep expertise in neuroscience. - Master's degree or PhD in neuroscience or a related field. - Strong analytical skills with a history of detail-focused or fact-checking work. - Ability to engage critically with complex scientific literature. - Self-sufficient working style suited to remote, ad hoc assignments.
Nice to have - Prior experience participating in AI training or evaluation efforts. - Background in scientific publishing, editing, or peer review.
