Role overview Neuroscience specialists are needed for a remote, ad-hoc AI evaluation project based around graphical abstracts generated by language models. The role involves reviewing AI-produced visual summaries against original research papers and judging their scientific accuracy. Pay is set at $40+/h, with scheduling left flexible to suit the participant's availability.
Responsibilities - Compare LLM-generated graphical abstracts with their source neuroscience papers. - Detect factual errors, distorted findings, or missing elements in AI summaries. - Confirm that technical concepts and experimental details are conveyed correctly. - Complete a paid qualifying assessment before joining the active study. - Contribute structured expert feedback used to improve AI handling of scientific literature.
Requirements - Master's or PhD in Neuroscience or a closely related discipline. - Strong grasp of experimental design, data interpretation, and terminology in the field. - Track record of analytical or fact-checking work, with high attention to detail. - Ability to communicate evaluation reasoning clearly and concisely.
Nice to have - Experience with AI training, annotation, or model evaluation projects. - Background in peer-reviewed publishing, scientific editing, or journal review.
