Role overview

This is a freelance, remote opportunity for experienced AI trainers based in Liverpool to contribute to the development and evaluation of advanced AI models. Participants join a paid expert pool, working on flexible, self-employed assignments from home with no fixed hours. The role involves applying professional judgement to shape the behaviour and quality of next-generation AI systems.

Responsibilities

- Complete paid AI training tasks including annotation, analysis, and editing of model outputs - Evaluate and judge the performance of AI systems against defined criteria - Provide structured feedback that helps refine and improve model behaviour - Pass an initial 10–15 minute skills verification test before joining the participant pool - Commit to focused, uninterrupted work sessions of up to one hour per task

Requirements

- Verifiable professional experience as an AI trainer or in a directly comparable role - Willingness to sit a short skills assessment before being onboarded - Strong attention to detail and the ability to concentrate on complex problems for sustained periods - A reliable, fast internet connection and access to a suitable computer - Comfort with self-employed status, including the need to self-declare earnings - A PayPal account for receiving client payments
