This fully remote role brings neuroscience specialists onto an AI verification project as expert reviewers. The mission is to evaluate whether AI-generated graphical abstracts accurately and faithfully represent complex scientific publications, contributing to higher-quality machine summaries of research.
Responsibilities
- Examine source scientific papers alongside their corresponding AI-generated graphical abstracts - Detect factual errors, misrepresentations, or structural weaknesses in the generated abstracts - Verify that technical neuroscience concepts are correctly translated into visual and textual summaries - Complete a paid qualifying assessment using a sample paper and abstract - Provide structured expert judgments that guide improvements to AI output quality
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Neuroscience or a closely related discipline - Deep familiarity with neuroscience literature and research methods - Demonstrated analytical skills with a history of fact-checking or detailed academic review - Careful eye for terminology, methodology, and scientific nuance

- Experience contributing to AI training, evaluation, or annotation projects - Background in scientific publishing, peer review, or editorial workflows
