This fully remote position invites neuroscience specialists to act as expert evaluators within an AI verification initiative. The work involves assessing whether machine-generated graphical abstracts faithfully capture the findings of complex research papers, helping ensure that AI summaries of neuroscience literature remain scientifically rigorous.
Responsibilities
- Read source scientific papers in tandem with their AI-produced graphical abstracts - Flag factual, conceptual, or structural inaccuracies where the abstract diverges from the paper - Use domain expertise to confirm that specialized neuroscience concepts are summarized correctly in both visuals and text - Pass a qualifying paid assessment based on a sample paper and abstract before joining the project - Deliver structured expert feedback that strengthens the integrity of future AI outputs
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Neuroscience or a closely related field - Substantial depth of expertise across neuroscience topics and methodologies - Strong analytical skills supported by prior fact-checking or rigorous review experience - Meticulous attention to detail and scientific terminology
Nice to have
- Prior exposure to AI evaluation, training, or data annotation tasks - Experience in scientific publishing, peer review, or journal editing
