This is a fully remote, flexible opportunity for neuroscience specialists to serve as expert evaluators on an AI verification project. The work centers on judging whether machine-generated graphical abstracts faithfully represent complex scientific papers, directly shaping how AI systems summarize and communicate research.
Responsibilities
- Review published scientific papers side-by-side with AI-produced graphical abstracts - Identify factual, conceptual, and structural inaccuracies where the abstract misrepresents the source material - Apply domain knowledge to verify that technical neuroscience findings are correctly conveyed both visually and in accompanying text - Complete a paid skills assessment using a sample paper and abstract before being admitted to the project - Provide structured feedback that helps improve the scientific integrity of AI outputs
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Neuroscience or a closely related discipline - Deep subject-matter expertise and comfort navigating dense scientific literature - Demonstrated analytical skills with prior experience in fact-checking or detail-oriented review work - Strong attention to nuance, terminology, and methodological accuracy
