Role overview A remote, project-based opportunity is available for neuroscience specialists to evaluate AI-generated graphical abstracts of scientific papers. The role supports AI developers by providing expert human feedback on whether LLM-produced summaries accurately reflect the source research. Work is ad hoc, flexible, and compensated at $40+/hr, beginning with a paid skills assessment.
Responsibilities - Review neuroscience papers in conjunction with AI-generated graphical abstracts. - Spot factual errors, misrepresented methods, or distorted conclusions in the abstract. - Verify that visual elements and textual summaries align with the study's actual findings. - Contribute structured expert feedback that improves the scientific accuracy of AI outputs.
Requirements - Master's or PhD in neuroscience or a closely related discipline. - Demonstrated ability to navigate and interpret dense scientific literature. - Background in fact-checking, peer review, or similar detail-oriented analytical work. - Strong attention to detail and capacity for sustained concentration. - Verifiable professional or academic profile. - Stable internet connection and a working computer.
Nice to have - Prior exposure to AI training, data annotation, or model evaluation tasks. - Experience in scientific publishing or peer-reviewed journals.
