Role overview This is a remote, on-call opportunity for neuroscience specialists to support an AI verification project. Experts review LLM-generated graphical abstracts of scientific papers and judge whether the visual and textual summaries faithfully represent the source research. The work is ad hoc, flexible, and typically compensated at $40+/hr, with candidates first completing a paid skills assessment.
Responsibilities - Evaluate neuroscience research papers alongside AI-generated graphical abstracts. - Identify factual, conceptual, or structural inaccuracies in the abstract. - Confirm that technical terminology, methods, and findings are summarized correctly. - Provide expert feedback that helps train and improve cutting-edge AI models.
Requirements - Master's or PhD in neuroscience or a closely related field. - Deep familiarity with dense scientific literature in the discipline. - Prior experience with fact-checking or detailed analytical work. - Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on complex material for extended stretches. - Verifiable professional or academic background. - Reliable internet connection and access to a computer.
Nice to have - Prior experience with AI-related training, annotation, or evaluation projects. - Background in scientific publishing, peer review, or journal editing.
