AI Trainer - Materials Science Specialists (Remote - Miami)

Role overview This position invites subject-matter experts to join an on-demand talent pool supporting AI research initiatives. Selected specialists provide high-level domain review for materials science projects, evaluating how well AI-generated scientific summaries align with the underlying research papers. Work is fully online and contingent on project demand, with paid assignments of up to one hour each.

Responsibilities - Audit materials science publications alongside graphical abstracts produced by a large language model - Identify discrepancies where AI output fails to accurately represent the source paper - Provide structured feedback that helps improve model performance in technical domains - Contribute expert judgment on the quality of scientific summarizations - Complete focused, short-duration review tasks as projects become available

Requirements - Master's degree or higher in materials science or a closely related discipline - Verifiable professional presence (e.g., LinkedIn profile or documented work history) - Demonstrated experience with fact-checking, peer review, or AI-related evaluation work - Strong attention to detail and ability to concentrate on dense technical material for up to one hour - Reliable, high-speed internet connection and a suitable computer
