Role overview A remote advisory position is open for Materials Science specialists to join an expert network that supports AI research initiatives. Project assignments depend on client demand and how well a candidate's profile fits, so work is not guaranteed.
Responsibilities - Examine materials science papers and the graphical abstracts created from them by a language model. - Spot and describe cases where the abstract misrepresents the underlying research. - Judge the scientific faithfulness, clarity, and coverage of each abstract. - Submit structured critique used to train and refine AI systems. - Stay focused through paid tasks that may last up to roughly one hour, with many being shorter.
Requirements - Master's degree or higher in Materials Science or a closely related field. - Demonstrated depth of knowledge in materials science research and methods. - Background in fact-checking, technical review, or AI annotation work. - A verifiable professional profile, such as an up-to-date LinkedIn presence. - Sharp attention to detail with the stamina to concentrate for extended stretches. - Stable, high-speed internet plus access to a computer suitable for remote work.
