Role overview This posting invites experienced physicists to join an expert network used by AI developers and research organizations. The core task involves auditing physics papers and the graphical abstracts generated for them by large language models, flagging inaccuracies so that the visuals faithfully reflect the science. Work is performed remotely on a per-task basis at $40 or more per hour.
Responsibilities - Examine physics papers alongside AI-produced graphical abstracts to evaluate scientific accuracy - Flag any visual elements that misrepresent methods, results, or conclusions from the source paper - Provide corrective notes and structured feedback used in model training and evaluation - Complete self-contained paid tasks, generally requiring up to one hour of focused attention - Apply domain knowledge to improve the reliability of AI-generated research artifacts
Requirements - Master's degree or higher in physics or a closely related area - Substantial background in physics, evidenced by academic, research, or professional work - Prior experience with AI annotation, fact-checking, or similar evaluation tasks - Meticulous attention to detail and strong concentration stamina - A verifiable LinkedIn profile or comparable professional history - A dependable internet connection and a personal computer
