A fully remote opportunity is available for computer science experts to verify AI-generated graphical abstracts of academic papers. The role supports a project assessing whether large language models produce summaries that are factually accurate and structurally faithful to complex research. Work is ad hoc and flexible, designed to accommodate researchers with variable availability.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret computer science research papers and match them against LLM-generated graphical abstracts - Pinpoint factual, conceptual, or visual errors that misrepresent the source publication - Apply domain judgement to confirm that methods, findings, and terminology are summarised correctly - Write clear, specific feedback identifying problems for downstream use - Operate independently across a queue of assigned evaluation tasks
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a closely related STEM field - Demonstrated ability to critically assess dense academic papers - Strong analytical skills with disciplined fact-checking habits - High attention to detail and reliable evaluative consistency - Comfortable working fully remote with self-managed scheduling
