Senior Product Manager - Accounts and Payments

Role overview A senior product leader is needed to own a strategic pod within the core product domain of a high-growth daily fantasy sports platform. The role centers on architecting foundational systems that balance monetization, player trust, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across areas such as payments infrastructure, account security and fraud prevention, or responsible gaming and compliance. This is a high-leverage position shaping multi-year roadmaps that directly influence how the business scales across new markets while protecting both players and regulatory standing.

Responsibilities - Define and own the long-range vision and roadmap for a focused pod, including payments, accounts and fraud, or responsible gaming and compliance. - Navigate strategic tradeoffs between growth, trust, speed, compliance, user experience, and operational burden, articulating the principles that guide squad decisions. - Partner with engineering leadership to architect systems that scale seamlessly across new states, payment methods, and player volumes. - Design product flows and internal tooling that reduce manual effort, automate fraud reviews and compliance checks, and shorten payout cycles. - Build alignment across engineering, finance, operations, customer experience, and data teams so pod work advances shared business outcomes. - Communicate vision, progress, and resource needs to senior leadership and advocate for roadmap priority across the broader product area.

Requirements - Five or more years of product management experience, including at least one year leading a small PM team or owning a critical squad. - Deep expertise in at least one of payments and monetization, fraud prevention and account security, or compliance and player protection. - Demonstrated success shipping complex, cross-functional products that move meaningful business metrics. - People leadership skills, including mentoring PMs, building team culture, and creating accountability. - Strategic thinking with the ability to weigh competing priorities and make thoughtful tradeoffs. - Experience operating in regulated industries such as fintech, gaming, payments, or healthcare, plus mastery of web and mobile product experiences.

Nice to have - Background scaling payments, fraud, or compliance at a fintech or gaming platform. - Track record reducing fraud loss, improving monetization, or simplifying compliance at scale. - Familiarity with state-by-state regulatory requirements for gaming, money movement, or consumer finance. - Experience shipping internal tooling or back-office UX that improved team efficiency. - Demonstrated ability to develop junior PMs into strong leaders. - Genuine passion for sports, fantasy sports, or the gaming space.
