Member of Technical Staff - Security

Role overview Establish and lead security across a platform that handles sensitive models, training data, compute infrastructure, and customer-facing services. As the first dedicated security hire, you will shape security practices from system design through incident response, working closely with engineering and research teams.

Responsibilities - Define and improve the security posture of hosted reinforcement learning systems, GPU infrastructure, compute services, and customer-facing products. - Conduct threat modeling and guide secure architecture decisions. - Build security practices into engineering and research workflows. - Prepare for and coordinate incident response. - Develop the company’s approach to compliance and security operations. - Advise leadership on security priorities and how they affect product and infrastructure decisions.

Requirements - Experience building or leading security programs, ideally in infrastructure-focused environments. - Ability to assess threats across cloud platforms, distributed compute, and customer-facing systems. - Skills in threat modeling and secure system architecture. - Experience responding to security incidents and establishing operational practices. - Sound judgment and ability to work directly with engineering, research, and company leadership.

Nice to have - Professional experience in offensive security or breaking into systems. - Strong perspective on protecting AI infrastructure and the assets it processes.
