Remote job
Senior Product Manager, Geo Addressing
Job details
About this role
Role overview This is a senior, hands-on technical product management role owning the Geo Addressing SDK and select legacy deployments within an Addressing Solutions portfolio. The work sits at the intersection of product management and engineering: acting as the subject matter expert on geocoding, address validation, autocomplete, and addressing SDK products, while shaping the roadmap and driving the engineering team's understanding of the backlog. The PM also serves as a technical bridge to customers, partners, support, QA, and the broader product organization, helping turn real-world addressing challenges into shippable software. The team operates as an AI-first organization and expects daily use of AI tooling.
Responsibilities - Act as the technically oriented subject matter expert for address verification, address geocoding, and address autocomplete solutions. - Represent the Addressing Solutions portfolio to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. - Own and prioritize the backlog across multiple engineering teams — new features, enhancements, defects, and technical debt — balancing customer urgency against strategic priorities. - Support the customer support team through escalations: initial triage, engineering root-cause analysis, fix validation, and customer-facing resolution. - Translate support requests and customer feedback into well-formed backlog items with acceptance criteria and sizing context. - Run weekly review calls, contribute to solution definition reviews, and act as the technical bridge across product, engineering, QA, support, and customers. - Dive deep into address-match behavior, multi-match logic, extended match codes, and country-specific output to drive quality and documentation improvements. - Evaluate new data sources as they become available and advise on release notes and other documentation.
Requirements - 5+ years in product ownership, technical product management, software engineering, professional services, or solution engineering. - Familiarity with address validation, geocoding, location intelligence, GIS, search, or related data-quality solutions at enterprise scale. - Ability to understand software architectures, REST APIs, logs, and engineering design discussions enough to validate behavior and investigate issues. - Demonstrated ability to perform technical validation activities. - Experience managing multi-customer escalation queues across accounts with varied SLA commitments. - ~10% travel. - Proficiency using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) for code review, acceptance criteria generation, and defect triage. - Experience evaluating AI-driven match-rate improvements or ML-assisted data-quality features in address or location products. - Familiarity with prompt engineering sufficient to scope AI-assisted feature work and write evaluation criteria for model-generated outputs.
Nice to have - Direct experience with Geo Addressing SDK, Spectrum, Trillium, or related data integrity APIs. - Familiarity with postal address standards. - Experience with vendor data licensing evaluation. - Exposure to hyperscaler partner integrations. - Understanding of agent-native API architectures and MCP server patterns and how they affect product design.
Benefits and work setup - 100% remote within the U.S.
