Role overview Develop the data pipelines and reporting systems that give marketing teams a dependable view of campaign performance. This early-career engineering role links marketing automation and customer relationship data to a cloud warehouse, improves attribution and data quality, and makes recurring analysis easier to maintain and reuse.
Responsibilities - Build and maintain pipelines between Salesforce, Marketo, and a data warehouse such as BigQuery. - Automate recurring campaign reports and write efficient SQL for reusable datasets, views, dashboards, and leadership reporting. - Strengthen attribution data, including campaign codes, tracking parameters, campaign membership, and lead-to-opportunity connections. - Monitor and troubleshoot data quality across source systems and downstream reporting tables. - Use AI-assisted tools to speed up analysis, query development, and documentation, validating work before it informs production reporting. - Assist with system configuration, such as fields, objects, synchronization rules, and campaign structures, and document data definitions and workflows.
Requirements - A completed or in-progress bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, data engineering, or a related technical field; new graduates are encouraged to apply. - Zero to two years of relevant experience. - Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, and window functions for relational data. - Working knowledge of a programming language such as Python for data scripting, automation, or ETL. - Familiarity with relational data models and CRM or marketing automation concepts, such as leads, contacts, accounts, campaigns, and opportunities. - Strong analytical attention to detail, an instinct for automating repetitive tasks, and curiosity about new tools and business needs.
Nice to have - Hands-on exposure to Salesforce or Marketo. - Experience with a cloud warehouse such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift, and BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau. - Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics, APIs, ETL/ELT tools, or workflow orchestration platforms.
