Senior Full Stack Software Engineer — Developer Platform (Remote LATAM)

Role overview Build the integration platform that lets external developers, partners, and AI agents connect to a software product. The role spans backend APIs, AI-oriented interfaces, and the tools that make integrations straightforward to build, test, and maintain.

Responsibilities - Design and evolve stable, versioned APIs for external use. - Build and maintain MCP servers, agent skills, and webhook integrations. - Develop the developer experience, including documentation, portal, onboarding, SDKs, and sandboxes. - Establish practices for API versioning, compatibility, deprecation, and breaking changes. - Improve security and reliability through authentication, rate limiting, usage analytics, and observability. - Work with product and engineering teams to define consistent integration contracts.

Requirements - 7+ years of software engineering experience, with substantial work in API design, platform development, or developer tooling. - Experience delivering public or partner APIs, including authentication, rate limits, and compatibility over time. - Ability to work across backend API development and frontend developer-facing tools. - Practical experience with MCP, agent skills, LLM tool definitions, or similar AI integration patterns. - Clear written and spoken English, with strong async communication habits. - Regular use of AI tools across software development, plus experience shipping AI-powered tools, agents, or workflow improvements.

Nice to have - Experience with API gateways, developer portals, API management, OpenAPI, webhooks, or event-driven systems. - Ruby on Rails experience at scale. - Background in SaaS, marketplaces, or fintech.
