Senior Solutions Architect

Role overview A senior customer-facing architect role on an AI-native software delivery platform. The architect partners with enterprise customers to study how they actually ship code today—branching strategies, review culture, security constraints, legacy systems—and designs workflow-driven solutions that fit those realities rather than idealized environments. This is a founding position in a young product line, where patterns created in one account become the reference architecture shipped across every account.

Responsibilities - Lead technical discovery, architecture and security reviews, proofs of value, and the conversations where engineering leaders decide to trust the platform. - Grow accounts by expanding from the first deployed workflow to a second and third, across both new logos and the existing customer base. - Build hands-on workflow prototypes, custom steps, and integrations against each customer's GitHub or GitLab, Jira or Linear, Slack, and existing CI tooling. - Serve as the shortest path between customer problems and the product roadmap, translating signals into structured engineering input. - Capture each deployment as a reusable pattern—reference architecture, workflow template, or documented approach that partners and other architects can run independently. - Run security questionnaires, architecture reviews, RFP inputs, technical workshops, and executive briefings tailored to the audience in the room.

Requirements - Seven or more years in technical roles, with substantial customer-facing architecture experience such as solutions architecture, principal or lead pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, professional services, or founding engineer work with design partners. - Hands-on coding depth: comfortable being dropped into an unfamiliar codebase and CI setup and becoming useful within days. - Proficiency in at least one customer ecosystem: PHP and Symfony, JavaScript and TypeScript, Python, or Go. - Real fluency in Git workflows, CI/CD, testing strategy, code review practice, release management, and how they break at scale. - Cloud and infrastructure competence with containers, environments, secrets handling, cloud primitives, and the realities of production systems. - Practical AI-native experience building multi-step agentic workflows, tool and MCP integration, context engineering, model evaluation, and steering, with awareness of governance, audit, and cost control.

Nice to have - Strong value-selling fundamentals: ability to anchor technical conversations in business outcomes rather than features.
