Product Manager
Job details
About this role
Role overview A cloud application platform company is hiring a Product Manager to own a meaningful slice of its cloud platform, including the foundations that every application depends on: APIs, runtime, environments, and reliability. The role is hands-on and technically rich, sitting at the intersection of product strategy and infrastructure engineering. A distinctive part of the work is designing for two audiences at once, human developers and AI agents that increasingly interact with the platform directly.
Responsibilities - Own the strategy, roadmap, and priorities for a cloud platform area, balancing mature foundations with new territory. - Synthesize signals from customers, support, sales, and engineering into clear problem statements and challenge underlying assumptions constructively. - Explore solution options with engineering, weigh trade-offs, and converge on the right scope and sequencing. - Ship in small increments and shorten the loop between release and learning. - Collaborate closely with infrastructure and systems teams to deliver capabilities that are reliable, scalable, and developer-friendly. - Build features, APIs, documentation, and error messages that serve both people and AI agents, and define metrics that show value for users and the business. - Partner with Product Marketing early so go-to-market shapes the product rather than just announcing it.
Requirements - Proven product management experience owning a distinct product area, ideally on developer platforms, PaaS, or cloud infrastructure. - Technical depth in building, deploying, and running applications in the cloud, with the ability to collaborate on multi-tenant architectures or distributed systems. - Software development background with languages such as Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PHP, Go, or Rust. - Hands-on or close-collaboration experience with CI/CD workflows, Docker or other OCI container technologies, and a clear point of view on intuitive API design. - Daily use of modern AI tools for research, drafting, and prototyping, paired with a realistic sense of current model limitations. - Comfort navigating ambiguity, turning unstructured problem spaces into clear strategies, and taking thoughtful action with incomplete information.
Nice to have - A strong perspective on autonomous agent architecture and how agentic workflows are reshaping software engineering. - Clear written and verbal communication skills with a track record of listening and building consensus across teams.
Benefits and work setup - Fully remote role within a globally distributed, multicultural team. - Flexible paid time off. - Comprehensive healthcare coverage across multiple countries. - Stock options in the company. - Budgets for professional development, home office equipment, wellness, and internet reimbursement. - Inclusive parental leave and a remote work travel program. - Annual team gatherings and an emphasis on open, inclusive culture.
