Infrastructure Solutions Engineer
Job details
About this role
Role overview Help engineering teams adopt and operate shared infrastructure by solving practical platform problems, guiding migrations, and building reusable tools. You’ll work across team repositories and services, handling requests directly while partnering with senior engineers on less-defined challenges.
Responsibilities - Triage infrastructure requests, remove immediate blockers, and route complex platform issues to the appropriate owners. - Carry out workload and storage migrations across cloud environments, including prototypes, configuration changes, and repeatable playbooks. - Deliver infrastructure work with engineering teams and platform capability owners. - Build and maintain Terraform modules, Helm charts, command-line tools, and client libraries using Go or Python. - Write runbooks, technical guides, and examples that help teams solve recurring issues independently. - Create dashboards and reporting for infrastructure usage, capacity, and cost.
Requirements - At least four years in platform engineering, DevOps, systems administration, SRE, or a related infrastructure field. - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. - Production experience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting Kubernetes workloads. - Experience with a public cloud provider; Google Cloud is preferred. - Familiarity with infrastructure as code and GitOps tools such as Terraform or Crossplane, Helm or ArgoCD, and CI/CD pipelines. - Ability to write Go or Python automation and tooling, coordinate cross-team work, and communicate technical updates.
Nice to have - Experience in developer enablement, platform support, or internal tools for software engineering teams. - Familiarity with large-scale block storage, workflow orchestration, or batch data processing. - Exposure to enterprise observability configuration and telemetry practices.
Benefits and work setup Full-time remote role based in the United States. Employees near an office are expected to work there three days per week.
