About this role

Role overview Lead the strategy and operating model for a multi-brand web ecosystem, overseeing the teams and partners responsible for web development, user experience, content management, publishing, and technical operations. The focus is to turn business and digital marketing priorities into roadmaps and reliable delivery, while improving site performance, discoverability, accessibility, and conversion. This is a strategic and operational leadership role rather than a hands-on development position.

Responsibilities - Set web platform strategy and technical roadmaps, including architecture, infrastructure, integrations, and long-term scalability. - Lead web development, UX/UI, CMS, publishing, and technical support functions across multiple brands. - Establish governance, standards, intake, prioritization, resource planning, and delivery processes. - Coordinate with SEO/AEO, analytics, demand generation, product marketing, IT, and external agencies on site priorities. - Oversee usability, accessibility, security, reliability, performance, and continuous improvement. - Direct major migrations, platform consolidations, rebrands, and acquisition integrations through launch and stabilization.

Requirements - At least seven years in website operations, web development, digital platforms, or digital experience, including five or more years leading people and teams. - Track record leading enterprise or multi-brand web ecosystems and multidisciplinary teams spanning development, UX/UI, and CMS operations. - Experience with large-scale website migrations, platform consolidation, or digital transformation. - Ability to create scalable governance and delivery processes and manage cross-functional priorities. - Experience collaborating with SEO/AEO, conversion optimization, analytics, and paid digital marketing teams. - Experience managing agencies, vendors, or external technical partners.

Nice to have A degree in digital marketing, information systems, web technologies, business, or a related area is preferred. Familiarity with headless CMS platforms, modern web frameworks, cloud hosting, and marketing technology such as Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, and tag management is useful. Experience applying automation or AI-enabled workflows to web operations is also preferred.

Benefits and work setup The listed U.S. annual salary range is $160,000–$201,000 for this non-sales position; additional bonus eligibility may apply, and offers depend on qualifications and experience.
