Remote job
UI & Visual Designer
Job details
About this role
Role overview A specialist UI & Visual Designer position focused on taking approved design directions and scaling them across complete products. The role centers on building the full surface area of a product after a Lead Product Designer establishes the defining screens, with responsibility for consistency, polish, and craft across every state and breakpoint. Visual quality is treated as a hard requirement, and the work is anchored in production-grade UI rather than conceptual exploration.
Responsibilities - Extend approved design directions across full products, turning a set of defining screens into the complete surface area at high fidelity. - Produce high-volume UI work while preserving consistency, hierarchy, and craft across web, mobile, or both. - Build and maintain design systems, including components, variants, tokens, and supporting documentation. - Design often-skipped states such as empty, error, loading, permissions, and edge cases, plus responsive behaviour across breakpoints. - Create prototypes, micro-interactions, and motion that clarify product behaviour rather than decorate it. - Keep Figma files organised, named, and structured so engineers and other designers can work from them independently. - Partner with developers through implementation, holding the bar on fidelity and flagging breakdowns for the Lead to resolve.
Requirements - 4+ years designing production UI for web, mobile, or both. - An exceptional visual portfolio demonstrating strong typography, layout, hierarchy, colour, spacing, and consistency held across a large number of screens. - Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including auto-layout, components, variants, variables, and library management. - Demonstrated design system work, ideally systems maintained rather than only consumed. - Strong command of responsive design and state design. - Experience with platform guidelines such as Material Design and Human Interface Guidelines.
Nice to have - Deeper Figma prototyping experience. - Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite. - Illustration or iconography skills. - Gaming or casino UI experience.
Benefits and work setup - Work From Home full-time, or use a global office location based on preference. - Generous vacation schedule and additional perks including a brand-new laptop.
