Technical Program Manager II, Infrastructure (Capacity & Efficiency)

Role overview A remote Technical Program Manager role driving capacity and efficiency programs across a large-scale cloud infrastructure footprint. The position partners closely with engineering teams to track usage, identify waste, and turn infrastructure right-sizing work into durable, low-toil mechanisms supported by AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities - Track program timelines, dependencies, and risks across infrastructure, platform, and cloud workstreams. - Build and maintain dashboards and reports that surface capacity utilization, cost trends, and efficiency savings to engineering leadership. - Coordinate with engineering owners, finance partners, and governance stakeholders on a broad infrastructure efficiency portfolio. - Use generative AI as a default operating tool to draft program artifacts, triage intake, synthesize status, and surface risks and decision points. - Prototype lightweight scripts, tools, and dashboards with AI coding assistants to reduce manual toil. - Operate within AI governance expectations, validating outputs, handling sensitive data appropriately, and flagging cases where AI use needs additional controls.

Requirements - 2–4 years of program or project management experience, ideally touching infrastructure, platform, or cloud environments. - Working knowledge of AWS or comparable cloud platforms, including compute, storage, and basic usage/cost concepts. - Some exposure to capacity management or infrastructure efficiency (right-sizing, utilization, waste reduction). - Strong organizational skills with the ability to track moving pieces and keep workstreams on schedule. - Clear written and verbal communication, comfortable presenting status and asks to engineering partners. - Demonstrated AI-first execution mindset: using GenAI for drafts, planning, and stakeholder communications while applying judgment to refine outputs.

Nice to have - Direct exposure to FinOps or cost management functions. - Familiarity with BI/dashboarding tools such as Superset, Tableau, or Grafana. - Basic SQL or scripting skills and exposure to distributed systems or ML/AI infrastructure. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Benefits and work setup - Remote-eligible across the country with in-person collaboration expected roughly 1–2 times every six months; US-based applicants only, with eligibility for equity and a published base salary range of $103,965–$214,044.
