Role overview

Lead a team that strengthens data foundations and tooling for a large consumer platform as an Analytics Engineering Manager supporting Core Data Science. The mission centers on building scalable instrumentation, experimentation practices, and self-service data capabilities that power product and business insights. This is a remote-eligible role for US-based applicants with light in-person collaboration expectations.

Responsibilities

- Build and grow a high-performance, diverse team of analytics engineers with an inclusive culture - Develop and evangelize instrumentation and experimentation best practices across product engineering teams - Prototype AI-assisted analysis pipelines and tools to deliver insights at scale - Apply AI to accelerate drafting, exploration, and documentation while verifying outputs for correctness - Partner with Data Scientists and Engineers to enable self-service access to datasets and metrics - Document tools and datasets, and shape the broader strategy for data quality and democratization

Requirements

- 6+ years working with data in fast-paced environments, including experience managing engineers - Fluency in SQL plus Python or R, including nested data structures, windowing, query optimization, and partitioning - Experience with workflow orchestration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and managing DAG dependencies - Track record of turning open-ended goals into scoped, impactful analytical objectives - Demonstrated ability to use AI to accelerate work while critically verifying outputs through testing and validation - Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics, or equivalent experience

Nice to have

- Experience in automation, anomaly detection, or workflow optimization - Background building internal tooling to maximize engineering velocity

- Remote-eligible role based in the US, with 1-2 in-person collaboration days per month - Base salary range of $177,185-$364,795 USD plus equity eligibility - Not eligible for relocation assistance
