About this role
Role overview Lead regional delivery of patient advocacy partnerships and educational programs across selected oncology disease areas and geographies. This field-based, non-sales role connects patients and caregivers with disease-state education and relevant community resources, while gathering insights that inform patient engagement strategy. The work requires close coordination with advocacy organizations and internal medical and regional teams, with careful adherence to compliance requirements.
Responsibilities - Coordinate and deliver approved educational programming at patient community and advocacy events, either directly or with qualified internal partners. - Activate national advocacy partnerships in regional markets and strengthen local connections that support patients and caregivers. - Capture post-event feedback and insights about patient needs and program impact for internal teams. - Manage sponsorship and exhibit requests, associated budgets, project plans, and timelines. - Coordinate cross-functional activity with regional and local colleagues, including field medical partners, in support of agreed programs. - Lead designated complex projects, set objectives, track measurable outcomes, and report progress against engagement priorities.
Requirements - Ability to work in a field-based, non-promotional capacity and follow applicable policies, laws, and regulatory requirements for patient engagement. - Ability to coordinate patient education and advocacy programming with internal teams and external organizations. - Strong project coordination skills, including planning, timelines, budget-related work, and outcome reporting. - Ability to communicate disease-state information to patients and caregivers using approved materials, and to connect them with appropriate advocacy resources. - Sound judgment in maintaining advocacy organization independence and directing reimbursement questions to the appropriate support resources.
