Mobile Engineer

Role overview Build mobile experiences that connect users to a range of hardware devices and AI features. The work covers app development for iOS and Android, device connectivity and firmware workflows, and the quality of the experience from initial pairing through ongoing use.

Responsibilities - Ship features across iOS and Android applications. - Implement device pairing, over-the-air updates, and settings management. - Integrate AI and translation capabilities with attention to responsive interactions. - Coordinate release cycles with QA teams and community beta testers. - Improve app stability and user experience, including crash-free performance and app store ratings.

Requirements - At least four years building production iOS and/or Android apps. - Experience with Swift or Kotlin and modern mobile architecture, such as MVVM, Compose, or SwiftUI. - Familiarity with Bluetooth Low Energy pairing and firmware update workflows. - Ability to integrate REST APIs and on-device AI SDKs. - Careful attention to interaction details and offline use cases.
