Senior Technical Project Manager (Compliance & Certifications)

Role overview A senior project manager is needed to drive compliance, security, and industry certification initiatives across a SaaS technology organization. The role owns the operational roadmap for SOC2 (Type 1 and Type 2) audits and Media Rating Council (MRC) evaluations, coordinating between external auditors and internal engineering, IT/TechOps, and business operations teams. It blends structured waterfall-style audit timelines with Agile engineering execution to keep the organization continuously audit-ready.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain project plans, trackers, KPIs, and status reports aligned to formal PMO methodologies, using platforms such as Asana or Jira as the single source of truth. - Plan phase-gate audit readiness cycles, mapping the critical path for dry-runs, evidence lock-down, remediation, and formal evaluation windows. - Translate complex compliance controls (security protocols, data-filtering rules) into actionable technical specifications, user stories, and development tasks slotted into engineering sprints. - Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and assessors, coordinating meetings, requests, and follow-ups efficiently. - Project-manage the continuous gathering, formatting, and submission of technical evidence such as configurations, access logs, and architectural diagrams. - Drive remediation work and business-operations compliance workflows including partner qualification, onboarding disclosures, and discrepancy or data-reissuance tracking. - Help operate compliance automation tooling (e.g., Vanta, Drata, Secureframe) for continuous control verification and evidence tracking.

Requirements - Around 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Program Manager, or Delivery Manager within a SaaS, adtech, or software engineering environment. - Demonstrated ability to manage fixed-deadline compliance timelines alongside sprint-based engineering execution. - Hands-on experience with SOC2 audits and/or Media Rating Council accreditation, including evidence gathering and compliance oversight. - Advanced proficiency with project tracking platforms such as Asana or Jira. - Comfort working alongside engineering and IT teams, with working understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), database schemas, and identity/access management frameworks.

Nice to have - Background in ad-serving technology, measurement methodologies, or industry measurement standards. - Project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or PMI-ACP, plus introductory security or compliance credentials. - Experience configuring compliance automation platforms such as Drata, Vanta, or Secureframe.
