Role overview This fully remote position centers on building and evolving iOS applications that power insurance and financial products for end users. The engineer joins a globally distributed engineering team that delivers reliable, scalable mobile systems across multiple countries. There is also a mandate to contribute thoughtful AI-assisted features where they materially improve the experience or efficiency of the product.
Responsibilities - Develop and ship iOS features in Swift, primarily using SwiftUI - Craft clear mobile flows covering insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and adjacent financial services - Partner with product managers and designers to break down complex user journeys into simple, intuitive screens - Wire up backend REST APIs and keep mobile flows stable and dependable - Tune performance indicators such as crash rate, loading states, responsiveness, memory consumption, and battery efficiency - Mine analytics, user behavior data, and production incidents to inform product improvements - Prototype and ship AI-assisted mobile experiences only where they genuinely benefit the user
Requirements - 3+ years of professional iOS development with SwiftUI - Practical experience applying artificial intelligence techniques within mobile applications - Solid grasp of iOS fundamentals plus a portfolio of production-shipped apps - Working knowledge of SwiftUI, UIKit, async/await, and modern iOS architecture patterns - Strong intuition for mobile UX, edge cases, and complete user flows - Comfort integrating REST APIs and diagnosing production issues - Self-directed work style with high ownership and attention to product quality
