About this role

Role overview

This is a technically-minded Product Manager role for a midwifery-led maternity and women's healthcare organisation. The position owns the core technology stack (electronic health record systems, patient portal, and care management platform) and sits at the crossroads of product, operations, and health system integration, serving as the internal and external subject matter expert on the EMR.

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day health of the EHR, patient portal, and care management platform, including clinical templates, order sets, lab configurations, payer connectivity, and access management. - Lead electronic health record integrations as the primary subject matter expert, coordinating FHIR/HL7 data exchange, health system IT timelines, and go-lives. - Triage, scope, and prioritise bug intake from market operations, standardising how engineering receives, resolves, and communicates issues back to the field. - Coordinate end-to-end launches across product, engineering, and operations, building structured toolkits and training materials so clinics are prepared on day one. - Build and maintain a clinical systems SOP library and onboarding materials so new market setup is repeatable without requiring the role's presence. - Develop and maintain dashboards tracking feature adoption, issue resolution, and rollout health, and produce quarterly reporting for product, leadership, and partner health systems.

Requirements

- Three or more years in product operations, technical program management, or a PM-adjacent role, ideally at a growth-stage digital health or services company. - Hands-on EHR configuration and integration experience, with the ability to go deep on technical details while communicating clearly with non-technical audiences. - Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action, with a track record of creating playbooks rather than only executing others'. - Demonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive aggressive timelines, ideally with client- or health-system-facing experience. - Analytical enough to build dashboards and identify patterns, even without being a SQL expert.

Nice to have

- Experience identifying where AI and automation can reduce manual administrative burden in product operations workflows.

Benefits and work setup

- Salary range of $110,000 to $140,000 depending on experience and location, plus equity. - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and generous PTO. - Remote-flexible with preference for the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut, Chicago, or Charlotte areas and periodic travel to clinic locations and health system partners.
