Role overview

A people-leadership role within Network Operations, focused on provider data accuracy and production workflow excellence inside a payer healthcare environment. The position blends day-to-day team coaching with cross-functional problem solving to lift operational efficiency, data quality, and overall team performance. The role reports to the Manager of Provider Data Operations.

Responsibilities

- Hire, manage, and develop a production team, owning performance management, growth conversations, and related administrative tasks - Monitor dashboards and operational KPIs, conducting root-cause analysis and constructing action plans when metrics slip - Stay close enough to daily production work to make informed, volume-based decisions that serve customers well - Lead team communications, including huddles that connect colleagues to mission, vision, and values while motivating daily execution - Build an inclusive, engaged team culture that reflects the organization's core values - Drive continuous improvement initiatives and partner across production and adjacent teams to roll out best practices - Identify and close gaps in existing operational workflows while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Requirements

- At least 2 years of provider data experience within a health insurance company - At least 1 year of direct people management experience - At least 1 year of experience using data and metrics to drive measurable improvements - At least 1 year of experience working with teams distributed across multiple locations and disciplines - Residence in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, or Texas, with occasional travel for team meetings and company events

Nice to have

- Bachelor's degree - Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certification - Broader healthcare or insurance industry background - Advanced Google Workspace or Microsoft Office capabilities - 2+ years solving complex inquiries - 1+ years managing projects

Benefits and work setup

Remote position based in AZ, FL, GA, or TX. Base pay ranges from $55,890 to $73,355 per year, with eligibility for benefits, an unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.
