Product Designer

Role overview

Design the experience of a B2B SaaS application that helps organizations understand, grow, and manage communities across multiple platforms. You will be a highly autonomous product designer, improving the existing user experience while shaping substantial new areas of the product and helping establish the design direction for an evolving software category.

Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end UX and visual design, from early exploration, wireframes, and flows through final delivery. - Partner directly with company leadership and engineering to define product experiences and bring them into production. - Improve the usability and coherence of the existing application while designing new capabilities. - Maintain consistency across the design language, visual system, and broader platform architecture. - Contribute to business strategy, requirements definition, feature prioritization, and decisions about customer value. - Occasionally support other design work when it helps the broader product or organization.

Requirements

- Several years of experience designing web applications, particularly in a B2B SaaS environment. - Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design, interaction design, typography, and product thinking. - Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and make thoughtful decisions at each stage of the design process. - Clear communication of design rationale to colleagues without a design background. - Customer-focused judgment about how design choices affect usability and business outcomes. - Comfort balancing speed and quality, offering opinions, receiving critique, and revising toward better results.

Nice to have

- Front-end coding experience. - Interest in community building and the needs of people who create or manage communities.
