About this role
Role overview A Systems Administrator is needed to support and improve an internal IT environment for a company delivering an AI-powered learning marketplace. The role combines escalated ticket handling, ownership of core SaaS and endpoint tools, and active work to build, administer, and improve the integrations, permissions, and automations that power secure AI-enabled workflows across the business.
Responsibilities - Resolve escalated IT support tickets within expected service timelines and carry a full ticket and project workload comparable to peers - Administer and improve core systems including Okta, Google Workspace, Jamf, Microsoft Intune, ZScaler, Jira, Confluence, Zoom, and password management tooling on an Apple Mac environment - Build, administer, and improve internal systems, integrations, permissions, and automations that support AI-powered workflows - Audit existing account provisioning and deprovisioning workflows and recommend streamlined improvements - Identify manual workflows suitable for automation and lead their technical evaluation and implementation - Maintain enterprise data and internet security practices, including documentation updates and policy enforcement - Prepare systems documentation and respond to audit requests in support of internal security compliance audits - Cross-train Help Desk Support personnel on key internal systems and applications - Introduce AI-driven or automation-based improvements to repetitive internal processes
Requirements - Hands-on experience administering core IT tools, with working proficiency in Jamf, Google Workspace, and Okta - Experience managing endpoint management and user access controls in a SaaS-heavy environment - Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive, ownership-driven approach - Ability to work across IT Support, Security, and cross-functional stakeholders on systems projects - Demonstrated examples from prior work showing systems building, automation, and improvement outcomes - Comfort with documentation, ticket workflows, and audit-ready systems practices
Nice to have - Experience in a fast-paced environment supporting AI-related internal tooling - Background contributing to security compliance audits and documentation - Familiarity with automation tooling used to streamline provisioning and access management
