Security Analyst Internship

Role overview

Support security and compliance work as a paid intern, gaining practical experience with audit evidence, vulnerability tracking, risk reduction, and security operations. The role is designed for a current student or someone who graduated recently and includes guided learning as well as ownership of assigned projects over time.

Responsibilities - Learn to use governance, risk, and compliance platforms and security tools, and observe established team workflows. - Help gather and review technical evidence for audits and maintain compliance records. - Support security programs such as phishing exercises, email protection, and penetration testing. - Review vulnerability findings, track remediation, and learn how static analysis results are reported. - Propose or build workflow automations for security and compliance operations. - Contribute to assigned projects and gain exposure to cloud security assessments.

Requirements - Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, postgraduate, or associate program, or graduated within the past 12 months. - Able to work 32–40 hours per week for a 20-week term. - Available during regular weekday business hours aligned with continental US time zones. - Reliable high-speed internet access while working.

Benefits and work setup - Fully remote internship open to candidates anywhere in the US. - Paid at $18 per hour; a work laptop is provided and must be returned at the end of the internship. - The program is projected to run from November 17, 2026, through April 9, 2027.
