About this role
Role overview This entry-level position supports a healthcare operations team by serving as the first point of contact for a contracted network of clinicians. The work is non-clinical and provider-facing, focused on resolving operational questions, triaging requests to the right internal teams, and helping clinicians navigate workflows. It is designed as a strong starting point for a career in healthcare operations, with structured training and regular manager check-ins.
Responsibilities - Answer routine questions from clinicians about schedules, workflows, processes, and operational expectations using established standard operating procedures and reference materials. - Respond to inbound clinician requests via Slack within defined service level expectations. - Perform first-line troubleshooting for common platform and login issues by following documented runbooks. - Route requests that require another team (credentialing, licensing, onboarding, scheduling, same-day call-outs, IT, payroll, or clinical leadership) to the correct internal owner using documented escalation paths. - Confirm the requester received an answer or a clear next step, and close out assigned tickets. - Document communications, questions, and resolutions accurately in the appropriate systems of record, and work assigned shifts including evening and weekend hours in the Central Time zone.
Requirements - 0–1 years of experience in a support, service, administrative, or operations role; healthcare or telehealth exposure is a plus but not required. - High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus. - Clear, professional written communication with a provider-facing, service-oriented mindset. - Strong attention to detail and consistency; able to follow documented procedures accurately. - Comfortable asking questions and escalating early rather than working outside established procedure. - Basic proficiency with Google Workspace and Slack; willingness to learn ticketing tools and clinical platforms; ability to handle Protected Health Information appropriately and complete HIPAA training.
Benefits and work setup - For salaried team members: medical, dental, and vision plans; flexible spending or health savings accounts; flexible PTO; 401(k) with company match; life and pet insurance; participation in scheduled holiday coverage to ensure uninterrupted support.
