About this role
Role overview A foundational R&D Analytics Engineer role within a centralized Operations organization, reporting to senior analytics leadership and focused on building the data and AI backbone of an enterprise SaaS business that serves corporate and government security teams. The position is highly hands-on, blending analytics engineering with AI-enabled workflow design to power decision-making across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Revenue Operations.
Responsibilities - Design and maintain scalable dbt data models in Snowflake that serve as trusted sources of truth across the business. - Architect ELT pipelines and transformation workflows using Fivetran and modern data engineering practices. - Build data foundations that power internal AI applications and LLM-enabled workflows, prototyping and productionizing operational use cases. - Embed analytics and AI into everyday workflows through tools such as Notion, Cursor, and Glean. - Create reusable data assets enabling activation through reverse ETL and analysis through BI platforms, partnered with Finance and Revenue Operations on core SaaS metrics like ARR, retention, expansion, and pipeline.
Requirements - Three to six years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar hands-on roles. - Strong SQL skills and deep understanding of modern data modeling, including dimensional modeling, transformations, and data contracts. - Experience building in cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift. - Comfort working in a fast-moving, evolving AI tooling landscape. - Systems-level thinking oriented toward scalability, extensibility, and flexibility, with pride in clean and durable architecture. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across both business and technical teams.
Nice to have - Prior exposure to the analytics and AI tooling stack listed, including Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, Hightouch, and Omni; fundamentals and learning ability are weighted more heavily than specific tool experience.
